USED DOGS is offering LOW to NO COST Pit Bull/Pit Bull Mix Spay/Neuter!!! Available NOW!! Donations are needed to cover incidental costs related to the spay/neuters. USED DOGS is also busy with some of the Forgotten Dogs from the BW Cooper Housing Project Demolition Site. Southern Animal Foundation is generously helping us with Veterinary Care for these dogs. The dogs are staying with USED DOGS. Even a small donation makes a difference!!! We REALLY need donations to help cover expenses related to their daily care and feeding. We are working with them daily to re-establish their trust and get them to the point where they will be adoptable. Some are already close. Others will require more time. They have all made a lot of progress!

USED DOGS is busy as usual with wonderful dogs. Since the hurricane we have repaired our hurricane damage and have helped other pet owners (low income and elderly ) with their fence repairs. USED DOGS is also very focused on proactive neighborhood spay and neuter. USED DOGS needs volunteers. We are especially looking for people to help with our neighborhood outreach spay/neuter program, but there are all kind of things to do here. Buddy the blind shih tzu would always be happy to spend some time with you here, BUT NEWS FLASH!!: Buddy has found a Foster home!! NEW NEWS FLASH!!: Buddy has found a forever home!! All dogs rescued by USED DOGS after Hurricane Katrina, were rescued exclusively and only out of Algiers, on the Westbank of New Orleans. USED DOGS is a 501 (c) 3 non profit organization. You can support USED DOGS by sending donations to P. Who We Are

USED DOGS is small but consistent, companion animal 501 (c) 3 rescue organization, focused primarily on dogs. USED DOGS is majorly focused on spay/neuter and is committed to improving the experience of being a dog in the New Orleans area. USED DOGS hopes to achieve this through hands on rescue and animal care, spay/neuter and low income spay/neuter outreach, adoptions, education, and by fostering and encouraging a spirit of community and neighborhood support and participation in this cause.
